In the spirit of our western heritage, we invite you to an intimate evening of Cowboy poetry.
A sometimes forgotten art form that has been carried on, mostly in the oral tradition, for over a century, cowboy poetry has stood the test of time as a vital part of our western, ranching and cowboy heritage.
Four of the country's best and most awarded contemporary cowboy poets will entertain and enlighten us with poems both classic and contemporary, some serious and some funny, it will be an event you will not soon forget.

Refreshments will be served. No ticket required.

He has also produced and acted on television, has appeared in film. Jeff grew up working on ranches and still does, living out and singing about the cowboy life.

Brad McClain was raised in the cattle business in Alabama, his father a livestock order buyer and rancher. This cowboy background and the church became the two strongest influences of his life. This has led to a lifetime a-horseback and in Christian ministry as a pastor, church-planter and retreat leader, both in Alabama and in Texas. Brad currently serves as the pastor of Long X Ranch Cowboys, an outreach of Save the Cowboy based in Kiowa, Colorado. He is also a teaching instructor for the American Fellowship of Cowboy Churches. His ministry page on Facebook and Instagram, God’s Horseback Gospel, reaches an expanding audience of many thousands of people each day. His recent book, “Pass the Reins,” is a collection of thirty cowboy stories and thirty poems with devotionals that has been very well-received. He and his wife Stacey live near Weatherford, Texas where they keep a few horses and a small herd of longhorns.

Tater Paschal

Pastor, husband, daddy, pawpaw and cowboy. Calls Meridian, Texas home, where he and his wife, Lisa have lived for 26 years. He has been blessed to write and recite cowboy poetry and stories from his experiences on ranches in Texas and New Mexico. He has also performed on stages in Copper Mountain, Colorado, Ruidoso, New Mexico, Elko, Nevada, Forto Worth, Abilene, and Snyder, Texas throughout the last 30 years. One other tradition Tater likes to be involved in is chuckwagon cooking for cowboy crews and also uses the church's wagon for many occasions to share the ministry of Jesus.
