Returning Gate Staff and Volunteers

Thank you to our wonderful group of volunteers that graciously give of their time and talents each year!

Interested in volunteering?

If you are interested in volunteering during the Western Heritage Classic please fill out the WHC Volunteer Application and review the Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct pages with the application. When you are ready to submit the application, please mail to Western Heritage Classic 1700 HWY 36, Abilene, TX 79602, or email Paige at pbohannon@taylorcountyexpocenter.com.

Volunteer opportunities include:

Answering phones in the General Office leading up to and during Western Heritage Classic in the General Office.
Greeting customers and taking tickets at the gate entrances.
Policing trash
Event specific volunteer: Children's Activities, Matched Horse Races, Chuckwagon Cookoff, Rhinestone Round Up, Fiddlers Contest, etc.
