Jean Prescott sings music that has been called the spiritual essence of the west. She was born in Amarillo and for the last several years has called Abilene and Taylor County home. She has spent most of her life horseback and it shows in the beautiful cowboy music she writes and performs. When you hear her rich alto voice, you will understand why she is the most decorated female singer of western music in the country, and why her voice graces a special exhibit at the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame. She now lives near Ovalo, south of Abilene, with her husband Gary who is also a great cowboy singer and songwriter.
