
Working Ranch Horse Competition
The “Western
Heritage Working Ranch Horse Competition," is held on Friday with a local winner named during the Ranch
Rodeo performance that evening.
The RHAA Working
Ranch Horse Competition’s - National Finals is on Saturday. The
competition is an invitational to winners from other sanctioned
competitions and culminates in the naming of the "best ranch horse in
the world." The top two finalists selected Saturday afternoon
competed during the Ranch Rodeo Saturday night for the "Super
Horse" title.
In addition to
traditional equestrian skills of reining, roping and cutting, the
competition includes an originality category that allows the cowboy to
present the horse in the most crowd-pleasing performance possible.
