Fiddlers Contest
The WHC
Fiddlers Contest spotlights the traditional fiddler music from our Texas
heritage. The Fiddlers
Contest is open to fiddlers of all ages. The competition offers categories
for ages 0-12, 13-30, 31-59, and over 60.
Only acoustical fiddling is allowed and no more than 3 accompanists
can play with the contestant. There
is no entry fee and contestants may register until the drawing is held to
determine the order of competition in each age division.
The contest is enjoyable to all ages and is sponsored by Ben E
Keith. Beginning at 1:00
p.m., Saturday, the Fiddlers Contest is held in the Display Building.
